Who is responsible for your data
Keylow Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Our full company details are set out at the bottom of this page. You can reach us at hello@keylow.dev.
What this website collects
This site has no sign-up form, no contact form, no analytics and no advertising. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There are two ways your data is nevertheless involved in serving you the page:
Server request logs
Our hosting provider records technical information about each request — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time. This is how the site gets delivered to you, and how abusive traffic is identified. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. These logs are short-lived and we do not use them to build any profile of you.
Typefaces loaded from Google
The page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google's servers, which discloses your IP address and user agent to Google. We do not receive that data. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in presenting the site consistently. If you would rather this did not happen, blocking fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com will not otherwise break the page.
If you email us
When you write to hello@keylow.dev we hold your message, your email address, and anything else you choose to include, so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or in taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for the matter it relates to, and in any case is reviewed and cleared down at least every 24 months, unless we have a legal reason to keep it longer — for example, records that have to be retained for tax or accounting purposes.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of established suppliers to run the site and our email. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Website hosting
- Vercel Inc. — serves this site and holds the request logs described above.
- Domain and email routing
- Namecheap, Inc. — operates the domain and forwards mail sent to our published address.
- Email hosting
- Google LLC — stores the mailbox that receives our correspondence.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.
Data outside the UK
Some of the suppliers above are based in the United States and may process data there. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards permitted under UK data protection law — the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement and its addendum, depending on the supplier.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong, or complete it if it is partial;
- delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
- restrict how we use it, or object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests;
- provide it in a portable form, where that right applies.
Email hello@keylow.dev and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — it is usually the quickest route to fixing it. You also have the right to complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
